All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth...

Our Christmas Eve tradition is that the kids get to open new pajamas from Mom and Dad. This year Cade got a Utes snuggie for his jammies because he was jealous of Grace's. Grant was excited about his new Thomas jams. Grandma and Grandpa Christensen host a party on Christmas Eve. This year Jeff, Gary and Eric brought back the traditions from their childhood of the nativity, pinata and talent show. It's a multicultural celebration at their house. For dinner they always have egg rolls and won tons along with the ham and turkey.

The kids looked so cute in their Christmas outfits this year.

Grant was just chillin' before his preschool Christmas program.

He got really excited when Santa came. Grant is usually really shy around new people, but he walked right up to Santa, sat on his lap and asked for Legos.

Cade lost his two front teeth the week before Christmas. Santa didn't come through with new ones, but he did bring a pretty sweet Harry Potter wand.

Family Pictures 2010

Oh, the joys of the annual family picture photo shoot. Can anything be more frustrating than trying to get a three year old boy to stand still, look at the camera and smile? Thanks to Grandma for shooting the pictures and Grandpa for providing the entertainment. We went up to Main Street in Park City where it was so fun looking at all the fun places to take pictures. Grace loves having her picture taken, so she was the easiest. The boys are good with once a year. Even the big boy :) These are all pre-photoshop, so the weeds and out of place hairs will need to be fixed, but I wanted to get opinions before I make up prints, so let me know what ya think.

Christmas in August...or back to school

It's the most wonderful time of the year (for Mom's anyway). The kids went back to school with their crisp, white shirts, new bags, and clean lunch boxes. Grace is in 3rd grade and loves seeing all her school friends she missed over the summer. Cade is officially "too cool" for me now that he goes to school all day. He especially likes the corn dogs and mac 'n cheese for hot lunch. Even Grant started preschool two days a week with three of his buddies. So, I have six hours a week without kiddies around. I've been spending my time wisely, going to lunch and shopping :)
