I love a lot of things about three year olds...the way they talk, like trying to say big words that come out with a few letters turned around. Or, how they are little control freaks, like how Grant wants to eat peanut butter and honey sandwiches every morning for breakfast and sometimes lunch, and dinner, and a snack. Do you know how much peanut butter and honey we go through at our house? You don't want to know.
Anyway, Grant was sick a few weeks ago, and every day it was a fight to get his medicine down. I would put it in a syringe, and coax him onto the couch with the promise of a Batman fruit snack if he will take his medicine. So, he spit some of it down his shirt and a few minute later he said, "Mom, my heart feels sticky." It was the cutest thing! I'm making a promise to myself to write down the cute little things he says more often.

Jess,
That is the cutest thing. I love all the cute things that little ones say. Smart of you to write them down because we can so easily forget and before we know it they are all grown up. He is so darn cute.
That is real cute! I saw the pictures of you mom's valentine's party on grace's shutterfly page. That looked like such a fun party. I feel like I haven't seen you in awhile. We should do lunch soon!
